A · Privacy Policy

Regulation (EU) 2016/679

A.1 — Data controller. QueryDataFast SAS, 13 Allée du Château, 69540 Irigny, France, is the controller of personal data described here. Privacy questions, access requests and deletion requests are handled at [email protected]. There is no formal DPO; the managing director holds data-protection responsibility.

A.2 — Data we collect. When you open an order slip or correspond with the counter we collect your name, business email, phone number, company name, the content of your brief and any files you send. Our servers additionally record IP address, user agent and request time for security logging. We do not receive or store card numbers: card payments are handled entirely by our payment processor.

A.3 — Purposes and legal bases. Contact details and brief content are processed to answer your request and prepare a quote (Art. 6(1)(b) pre-contractual steps). Contract data is processed to deliver the engagement and invoice it (Art. 6(1)(b)). Security logs are kept to protect the service (Art. 6(1)(f) legitimate interest). Newsletter-style updates, where you opt in, run on consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) and can be withdrawn at any time.

A.4 — Retention. Enquiries not converted into an order are erased after 12 months. Contract, invoice and accounting records are kept for 10 years as required by French commercial and tax law. Security logs are rotated after 90 days. Data linked to a withdrawn consent is deleted within 30 days of the withdrawal.

A.5 — Recipients. Data is accessible only to QueryDataFast SAS staff and to processors bound by written instructions: our EU-hosted cloud infrastructure provider, our email provider, our accounting software and our payment processor. We never sell, rent or broker personal data. Where a client engagement requires a sub-processor list, it is attached to the statement of work.

A.6 — International transfers. Storage and processing take place within the European Economic Area. If a tool ever requires a transfer outside the EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses plus a transfer impact assessment before the tool is used.

A.7 — Your rights. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and may withdraw consent at any time, by writing to [email protected]. We answer within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris / cnil.fr).

B · Terms of Service

Commercial engagement

B.1 — Scope. These terms govern every consulting, data-engineering and analytics engagement performed by QueryDataFast SAS for a client. Any statement of work, quote or order slip signed by the parties prevails over these terms where the two conflict.

B.2 — Quotes and orders. Quoted prices are fixed for 30 days from issue. An order is formed when the client confirms a quote in writing or settles the first invoice. Changes in scope requested after that point are priced as a new line item and only start once confirmed in writing.

B.3 — Prices and payment. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at the rate in force. Invoices are payable within 15 days by bank transfer or through our secure payment page. Late payment attracts the statutory penalty under French commercial law plus a fixed recovery indemnity of €40. Work may be paused after 10 days overdue, without this terminating the contract.

B.4 — Delivery and acceptance. Turnaround times stated on the rate register are working-day estimates starting from receipt of source access and written brief. The client has 10 business days to report material defects; otherwise the deliverable is deemed accepted. Remedies for accepted defects are correction at no charge.

B.5 — Intellectual property. On full payment, all worldwide rights in client-specific deliverables — models, dashboards, pipelines, documentation and bespoke code — transfer to the client. QueryDataFast SAS retains ownership of pre-existing libraries, templates and know-how, which are licensed to the client perpetually and royalty-free for their own internal use.

B.6 — Confidentiality and data roles. Each party keeps the other's non-public information confidential for five years. Where QueryDataFast SAS processes personal data on the client's behalf, the parties act as controller and processor respectively and execute a data-processing agreement meeting Art. 28 GDPR before any data is touched.

B.7 — Liability. QueryDataFast SAS is liable only for direct loss caused by proven breach of its obligations. Total liability for a given engagement is capped at the amount actually paid by the client under that engagement. We do not warrant commercial outcomes attributable to the client's own decisions, nor uninterrupted availability of third-party platforms.

B.8 — Term and termination. Either party may terminate for material breach not cured within 15 days of written notice. Retainers cancel with 30 days' written notice at the end of the current month. On termination the client pays for work completed up to the termination date; deliverables already paid for remain the client's.

B.9 — Governing law. These terms are governed by French law. Disputes are first handled by good-faith negotiation, then submitted to the competent courts of Lyon, France, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.

C · Cookie Policy

ePrivacy Directive

C.1 — What we set. This site runs a single first-party cookie in your browser's local storage: cookie_accepted. It records that you dismissed the consent notice so the banner does not reappear on every page. It is strictly functional, carries no identifier beyond your own device, and expires when you clear site data. Typical lifetime: up to 12 months.

C.2 — No tracking cookies. QueryDataFast SAS does not set advertising, remarketing or cross-site profiling cookies on this site. There is no third-party advertising network, no social pixel and no behavioural retargeting tag embedded in these pages.

C.3 — Embedded third-party content. The contact page embeds a Google Map and the pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Google may process your IP address when these resources are fetched and may set its own cookies under its own policies. If you prefer to avoid that contact entirely, block third-party resources in your browser; the address and contact details remain available as text on every page.

C.4 — Managing cookies. You can delete cookie_accepted at any time through your browser's site-data settings; the consent notice will then reappear. Blocking all storage will not prevent you from reading the site, ordering services or reaching the counter by email or phone.

C.5 — Changes and contact. Any change to this policy is dated at the top of this document. Questions about cookies or consent records go to [email protected], QueryDataFast SAS, 13 Allée du Château, 69540 Irigny, France.

D · Refund Policy

Fixed-price engagements

D.1 — Fixed-price promise. Line items on the rate register are fixed price. If our own estimate overruns, the overage is ours to absorb; we will never invoice more than the figure accepted on your order slip without a fresh written agreement.

D.2 — Cooling-off period. Consumers, and any client ordering at distance, may withdraw within 14 calendar days of payment without giving a reason. If work has already started at your express request inside that window, we deduct a proportionate amount for the work completed, and we tell you that figure in writing before charging it.

D.3 — Milestone cancellation. Where an engagement is split into milestones, cancelling between milestones refunds the value of milestones not yet started, less any non-recoverable third-party costs already committed on your behalf. Milestones delivered and accepted are not refundable.

D.4 — Non-refundable work. Completed and accepted workshops, audits, discovery sessions, and licensed third-party subscriptions purchased for your project are non-refundable once delivered, because the knowledge is irreversibly transferred.

D.5 — Retainers. The dashboard care retainer is billed monthly and cancellable with 30 days' notice before the next renewal. The current month already started is not refunded; unused change windows do not roll over.

D.6 — How to request a refund. Write to [email protected] from the email address used on the order slip, quoting your slip or invoice number, and state which clause above applies. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method — including payments made through our secure payment page — within 14 days of approval.

D.7 — Good-faith review. Where a deliverable genuinely fails to match the written brief, our first response is repair at no charge. A refund is issued only if we cannot correct the defect within a reasonable period set by you in writing.
